The event will feature a market briefing by Juan Carlos Prieto, of the US embassy Mexico City, to be followed by a panel discussion with Mr. Prieto, Matt Perez, COO, Nearsoft and Javier Carmona, CEO, 3dmx. Topics to be discussed during the briefing are Mexico's Consumer Electronics and Video Games, Fixed and Wireless Telecommunications, Cable and Pay TV Services, and Mexico's Internet market. The panel will discuss the emerging opportunities for high tech business in Mexico, as well as provide insight into business best practices for doing business in the country. PanelistsJuan Carlos Prieto Williams is the IT and Telecom Commercial Specialist for the US Commercial Service under the US Embassy in Mexico City, U.S. Department of Commerce. Juan Carlos has a decade of experience in business analysis, planning and development. His professional career includes diverse industries, such as financial, industrial, manufacturing, IT and telecommunications. Matt Pérez is COO at Nearsoft, a nearshore outsourcing company.
