For the third year in a row, Nearsoft has ranked among the TOP 20 Great Places to Work in Mexico.  We are honored (and so very stoked!).  We've ranked in the TOP tier ever since we first applied for this award, three years ago.  Here's our secret sauce.

Just finished reading "The Invisible Hook" by Peter Leeson, about pirates, economics and workplace democracy.  The main takeaway is to let the needs and structure of your market drive your organization, not the other way around.  Pirates did so and very successful at it.

Last night's Churchill Club's event turned out to be great on many dimensions.  Even the chicken dinner was remarkably good.  Most striking to me was the contrast in culture between Hastings and Eisner.  I hope the video is made available soon because it really illustrates the chasm between traditional and modern business culture.

Free relationships, no children, drama-free, acquaintances... these days, in our society, nobody seems to be willing to engage.  And not only is this happening in personal relationships but it is also happening in the business arena, in the relationships that we all know as B2B.

Last week I attended WorldBlu's Mastery Circle. WorldBlu is a non-profit that promotes democracy in the workplace.  They identify the world's most democratic workplaces and, once a year, they bring these businesses together in an event called the Mastery Circle, where they can help each other to overcome the challenges they face.  I had a very positive experience at this event.
